Course Overview
The “How to Use Figma” course teaches you Figma within Figma. These hands-on lessons creating slides, websites and apps teaching the functionality of Figma:

Get Familiar with Figma interface
Before jumping into real-world examples, the course first explains each part of Figma’s interface to get you oriented within the app. Once this level is complete, you will know where to click to create new design elements, where to look at different pages in your design file, where to see your design layers and where to style your designs.

What is Figma?
Figma is a collaborative interface design tool. What that means it is a tool designed primarily to design user interfaces for websites and apps. It is a great way to hand off web and app designs to developers. As Figma has gotten more features it is now also used for slide design, graphic design, and collaborative work (FigJam) as well.
What is Figma used for?
Figma lets you design and set up prototypes pixel perfect mock ups of websites and apps to iterate on based on feedback and then when complete, hand off to developers. What Figma does not do is let you create a final functioning website or app for end users to use.
